Hi Ben,
Thanks for capturing these from the F2F.
When can we have the ballots referenced below ready to go to the forum? I
think that should be the first step, although we can continue working the
3rd items in parallel.
Thanks
Dean

Subject: [cabfcert_policy] F2F Recap
Today the working group discussed possible tasks and prioritization thereof:
. Doing nothing/status quo was not considered a viable option.
. Converting the EV Guidelines into RFC 3647 and GitHub mark-down was
proposed.
. Converting the Network and Certificate System Security Requirements
(NetSec) to RFC-3647 format and GitHub mark-down was also proposed.
. Merging the NetSec into the Baseline Requirements (BRs), merging EV
into Baseline Requirements, and/or as appendices, etc., was also discussed.
. Also, the Working Group asked for input into how its recent work
could be integrated into the BRs.
Here is what we decided:
. A ballot will be introduced to convert the EV Guidelines into RFC
3647 and GitHub mark-down formats
. A ballot will be introduced to convert the NetSec into RFC 3647 and
GitHub mark-down formats
. The CP WG will prioritize amendments to the Baseline Requirements
and present them as subject-matter-related chunks
. Better communication is needed with auditors and their clients
about policy interpretations, requirements, etc.
