OK, thanks – I see that.

Why do you suppose it just put a red stripe and a green stripe on the left of entire parallel sections?  Was that a choice by someone (to display the changes that way, and not in greater detail)?  Or does GitHub throw its hands up when the changes are too extensive and say, in effect, “I can’t show this in traditional track changes mode”?

You can see an example of that style of diff for the change to the definition of FQDN in the Acronym table. "Fully Qualified" is crossed out and "Fully-Qualifed" is next to it in green.​
