Hello,

The document "Certification Authority Authorization (CAA) Processing for
Email Addresses" was published late last week as RFC 9495. It is available
here: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9495.html.

 

Given that this document is now published as an RFC, I believe we can resume
the discussion on CAA for S/MIME certificates
(https://github.com/cabforum/smime/issues/7).
