This is interesting, I wasn’t aware that these curves were being standardized by NIST.  Just another data point on the popularity and quality of these curves, which many of us have been trying to get allowed for quite some time.

If a first skim of the document is correct, this makes eddsa, and curve25519 / curve448 in their three forms (Edwards, Montgomery,  Weierstrass),  FIPS approved.
