Thank you Virginia.

Members-I would encourage everyone to read the FAQ, as a starting point, and then the official documents which Virginia sent out in a zip file. As I stated at the face to face, this work is the culmination of 2 years’ worth of efforts of the working group to formalize what was asked of us by Ballot 165. This ballot was voted in the affirmative by 19 CAs and 4 Browsers. The current ballot establishes a framework for allowing additional topics to be discussed in the Forum. Existing work of the Forum will continue. One necessary component though is that new IPR agreements will need to be signed. The ballot would take effect 90 days after a successful vote.

Questions may be posted on the public list and the WG will coordinate responses.

Thanks,

Dean Coclin

Hello all,

I understand that some of you may not have received the FAQ document with yesterday’s email, so I’m attaching it again here. Please let me know if you’re having problems with any other documents. Thanks!
