Great! I?ll adopt those changes; with those in mind I?ll formally start the discussion period for it Monday the 6th. Since we?ve done most of the discussion on here already, I?ll plan for the voting period to start the following Monday (14th August) unless there?s a lot of heartburn with that.

Looks good Jos, just a few suggested tweaks:

The proposer of the ballot, Jos Purvis, will act as chair of the Working Group until the first Working Group Teleconference, at which time the group will select a chair and vice-chair either through election or acclamation of those present. The chair and vice-chair will serve two-year terms, the first of which will start upon their election and run through 1 November 2020.

Excellent feedback, thanks! I?m fine with altering the quorum as you mentioned?it makes sense to provide for that eventuality just in case. For the chair, would this work as a proposal?

I am, by the way, absolutely fine with any other name being inserted there in place of mine. ? If people would feel more comfortable with Kirk, Ben, Dimitris, or whomever else being the initial acting chair, that?s all good?I didn?t want to necessarily insert myself into the balloting process.
