Hello, all! The amount of enthusiasm and confidence in the ballot for the FIWG is really awesome…and slightly terrifying, given that I’ve got to get this thing off the ground!

I’ve created the initial wiki page for the working group, which right now contains the FIWG charter information. It also contains a table to use for declaring participation: per our IPR Policy, if you want to participate in the working group, you must declare your participation on the wiki page. We’ll be discussing the initial mailers and content for the working group on the first call.

Speaking of which, I’ve also created a poll to set the time for the working group meetings. The poll is below: it asks you to mark down possible and preferred times for the call. If you’re interested and have declared your organization’s participation on the wiki page, please hit the poll link below and declare your preference of times and dates. I’ll be closing the poll on Friday, 14 September and setting the meeting time thereafter.

Looking forward to talking with everyone as we get this going!
