Antitrust Statement

Ballot 190: Kirk has been waiting for new definitions to be finalized in a new ballot after Ballot 202 failed, but will circulate a new version of Ballot 190 assuming the key definitions from a new ballot will be the same as in Ballot 202.  Ben said he would work with Peter to get the new definitions ballot done.

Ballot 207 (ASN.1 Jurisdiction in EV Guidelines) has endorsers and is ready to go.  Ben will start the process soon.

Ballot 211 (Resolution of Approval for WTCA v2.1) - Kirk noted he has no endorsers, and that Google had indicated it thought the resolution of approval was not the right approach.  Tim said he had problems with the Forum approving a WebTrust document - the document is fine, but if the Forum is going to be involved it should add the requirements to the BRs, which can then be added by WebTrust to its audit criteria.  (He has not yet reviewed the most recent revisions from Jeff Ward).  Jeremy agreed.  Ben wasn't sure that was the best approach, as the Forum has not included any other parts of the WTCA standards in the BRs.  Also, these requirements would be in the BRs, while the auditors want it to be in WTCA, not BR WebTrust document.  Kirk said he would discuss with Jeff Ward and perhaps modify the ballot to put the requirements in the BRs.

Ballot 210 (Miscellaneous Changes to Network Security SSR) - This ballot is just entering the voting period.
