I wasn't aware of that bug.

If a ballot to permit EV wildcards was proposed, I would need to sample
opinion within Mozilla more carefully, both on our vote and (if our vote
was against) whether we feel strongly enough about it to make our
software do other than what the EV guidelines suggests.
