Have you all seen that they are considering removing all upper bound limits on DN attributes as errata to RFC 5280?
I've seen some pushback, but I don't know if CABForum would want to weigh in on that discussion.

The maximum length for the O field is 64 characters.

That might help; but are there limits on the permissible length of the O field that this might run into? I seem to vaguely recall we had problems with this when we were discussing d.b.a. rules.
