Thanks - I had it in EV, but that won't effect certs issued under the BRs. I just need to update the dates so they match :)
And thanks for the clarification. That's indeed the purpose. If IANA chooses not the reserve the name, we'll need to have a separate discussion on how (and whether) to proceed.

Thanks for continuing to work on this. Indeed, willing to. However, note your added revocation clause is duplicated in point 6 (with the earlier Feb 15 date). I'm guessing you just forgot you already had this clause ;)
For those considering: This restricts the existing set of capabilities to issue .onion from "Whatever you want" (under internal name rules) to "Under these rules", but does nothing to prolong past the internal names sunset (.onion is still an internal name unless IANA delegates it, and a separate ballot will be needed IF IANA decides to never delegate and reserve as a special-purpose domain)
