[cabfpub] Notice of IPR Review Periods for Ballots 118, 123, 125, 131, 132, 134, and 135

Pursuant to Section 4.1 of the CA/Browser Forum's IPR Policy, this is notice
of the commencement of a 30-day IPR maintenance-guideline review period by
which certain provisions of the IPR will become applicable to recent changes
made to the Baseline Requirements, the Guidelines for the Issuance and
Management of Extended Validation Certificates, and the Guidelines for the
Issuance and Management of EV Code Signing Certificates.

This Notice of IPR Review Period pertains to Ballots 118, 123, 125, 131,
132, 134, and 135. 

Notice of IPR Review Period for Amendments Made to the EV Guidelines by
Ballots 123 and 131

Ballot 131 was adopted on 12 September 2014 and addressed methods of
verified communication and Ballot 123 was adopted on 16 October 2014 and
addressed Reuse of Information.  Redlined versions of the EV Guidelines
showing the language of these maintenance guidelines may be found here:

Notice of IPR Review Period for Amendments Made to the Baseline Requirements
by Ballots 118, 125, 134, and 135

Ballot 125 was adopted on 14 October 2014 and pertained to CAA records.
Ballots 118, 134 and 135 were adopted on 16 October 2014 and pertained to
SHA-1 sunsetting; Pre-Certificates (certificate transparency); and ETSI
auditor qualifications, respectively.  

Notice of IPR Review Period for Amendments Made to the EV Code Signing
Guidelines by Ballot 132

Ballot 132 was adopted on 16 September 2014 and extended the validity period
of certificates used to support timestamping services. 

During this IPR review period you are to review each amendment and consider
any licensing obligations with respect to any Essential Claims that may be
encompassed by such amendment.

The IPR review period for these Maintenance Guidelines shall end on Friday,
21 November 2014.
