Google votes "no" as well.

Rob's raises many legitimate concerns, and we would rather see the Forum
address these concerns first. The continued growth of scope for the Forum
represents an issue we have expressed previously, so it would be healthy to
resolve this, rather than presuming the status quo.

As Rob mentioned, there is only one program that has adopted these
requirements, and no others that have expressed interest, so such a delay
in changes can always be dealt with by the vendor directly if they are
critical.
