ChamberSign, with the support of DTCE, organises a training session for Trust Services Providers: "eIDAS - What should I do differently than today, by when and why?". This is also a good opportunity to meet with peers.

Targeted participants: Trust Services experts (20 to 25 participants).

Dates: 29-30 September or 23-24 October 2014 in Brussels (ChamberSign, 19 AD avenue des Arts, 1000 Brussels). 

Title of the training: Regulation on "electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market”: new obligations and opportunities from the perspective of legislation, technical impacts and standardization. 

Summary: this workshop rather than giving a theoretical approach (e.g. difference between IA and DA or enumerating a long list of standards) will be answering the main question a TSP/stakeholder should ask: "What should I do differently than today, by when and why?". The agenda will be 50% technical / 50% legal and cover issues such as notification, quality insurance, liabilities, standardisation, new opportunities… Full agenda to follow.

It will be 3 training modules of 3,5 hours (with 1 or 2 short breaks). On the 2nd day the trainers/experts will stay during and after the lunch to discuss and answer remaining questions. A European Commission official will also participate in the second day lunch and early afternoon for a Q&A session. Likely schedule: day 1 (9h30-17h30) and day 2 (9h30-15h30).

Trainers: Sylvie Lacroix (Sealed), Olivier Delos (Sealed), Hans Graux (Timelex).

Budget : 550€/participant (450€ for ChamberSign/DTCE members). The fee covers the training, lunches and coffee breaks.

Invoice must be paid before the training session. ChamberSign keeps the right to cancel the training 20 days in advance should the minimum number of participants not be reached (in which case advance payment will be reimbursed).
