DigiNo-more: Improving Trust in the CA Ecosystem

 

The author (me) briefly reviews the security compromises

occurring in the certification authority business during

2011 and then provides an overview of efforts that

members of the CA Security Council and CA/Browser

Forum have undertaken to address the threats and

vulnerabilities highlighted by those compromises. It

will also review how the information security practices

of the CA industry can be improved by re-emphasizing

well-known information security principles.
