For some reason I thought that most of you were aware of this, but since
I've received questions from some of you who haven't seen it - here is an

On my Windows 7 machine, I had to open the Java 7 Control Panel, Click
Advanced, and under General, check the "Enable Online Certificate
Validation" and "Check certificates for revocation using Certificate
Revocation Lists (CRLs)" boxes.
