[cabfpub] NOTICE OF IPR REVIEW PERIODS

Pursuant to Section 4.1 of the current IPR Policy, I am to announce a 60-day
IPR review period before a Draft Guideline becomes a Final Guideline (for
purposes of the IPR Policy) and a 30-day IPR review period before a Draft
Guideline is considered a Final Maintenance Guideline under the IPR.  

 

On August 3 [Ballot 83] we adopted the "Network and Certificate System
Security Requirements" attached.  I hereby announce a 60-day IPR review
period during which you are to review such Draft Guideline and consider any
licensing obligations with respect to any Essential Claims that may be
encompassed by such Draft Guideline.  The IPR review period for this
Guideline shall end on 16 January 2013.

 

On  September 12 [Ballot 88] we adopted a BR Maintenance Guideline that
amended Section 9.2 of the Baseline Requirements.  That Maintenance
Guideline is attached hereto.  I hereby announce a 30-day IPR review period
during which you are to review such Draft Guideline and consider any
licensing obligations with respect to any Essential Claims that may be
encompassed by such Draft Guideline.  The IPR review period for this
Guideline shall end on 16 December 2012.

 

On  November 7 [Ballot 93] we adopted a BR Maintenance Guideline to address
Issues 6, 8, 10, and 21 in the Baseline Requirements.  That Maintenance
Guideline is attached hereto.  I hereby announce a 30-day IPR review period
during which you are to review such Draft Guideline and consider any
licensing obligations with respect to any Essential Claims that may be
encompassed by such Draft Guideline.  The IPR review period for this
Guideline shall end on 16 December 2012.
