[cabf_governance] IPR Agreement on wiki

Ok. Since the ballot says July 3rd, let’s go with that date.

I think we can change the version number reference in Section 5.3.4 as a typo, do others agree? How could members object to having the right version number reference?

On the last call, we thought that voting was ending on Tuesday instead of Wednesday, which is where July 2nd came from. If you remember, we found and corrected the error via email immediately afterwards and came up with the July 3rd date. That’s where the confusion is coming from.

The bylaws also incorrectly refer to themselves as version 1.8 in 5.3.4. I only noticed when figuring out what to do with the validation WG; no one noticed before voting.

Oops! We needed to update the dates in the Bylaws and IPR policy to the correct, post-ballot dates. Please see attached for the updated versions, which should now go on the wiki.

The ballot said that the end of the voting period was April 4th. 90 days after that is July 3rd - so that’s the date by which members need to sign the new IP Agreement. I’m not sure where the July 2nd date is coming from. But if that gets people to sign a day early, that’s a good thing. :o)

I’m putting them up on the wiki and the CA/B Forum site. What day did we decide the new IPR Policy would be effective? Was it July 2, 2018?

Hello all,

The wiki does not have the new IPR Agreement and signature page on it. Who can put up those documents (and the others from Ballot 206). We don’t want to have people signing the wrong thing. Thanks!
