Hi Ben,

I’m working on updating the drafts for what I hope will be the last, or very close to the last, time.

Just to clarify, the renumbering in Section 2 is not unexplained.  If you’ll remember, one of the prior ballots added Section 2.2, “Ending Forum Membership.”  Due to that addition, the subsequent sections needed to be renumbered.

Here is a revised draft of the Bylaws based on our discussions today.  We’ll be canceling our next meeting on the  26th and reconvening on January 9 to discuss this and the Charter for the Server Certificate Working Group.
Specifically, we made changes to:
section 2.1 to revert to include “Root Certificate Issuers” as requested by Virginia, Gerv and others
section 2.3(f) (same reason)
section 5.3.1 (b)(8) and (d) to eliminate redundant provisions that both covered the means of communication
We also wondered why there was some unexplained renumbering of paragraphs in section 2.
