The IPR review period on CSC-15 had ended and no Essential Claims were
brought forth. Hence the ballot is now finalized.

The CSCWG webmaster is requested to publish the revised requirements on the

Upon further investigation, it appears that we have to do an IPR review,
even though these changes are editorial in nature and effectively there are
no changes to the text content.

 

 

NOTICE OF REVIEW PERIOD - BALLOT CSC-15 This Review Notice is sent pursuant
to Section 4.1 of the CA/Browser Forum's Intellectual Property Rights Policy
(v1.3). This Review Period is for a Final Maintenance Guideline (30 day
Review Period). Attached is a complete Draft Guideline subject of this
Review Notice. 

 

Ballot for Review: Ballot CSC-15 

Start of Review Period: 2022 08-18 at 1400 Eastern Time 

End of Review Period: 2022 09-18 at 1400 Eastern Time 

 

Please forward a written notice to exclude Essential Claims to the Working
Group Chair by email to dean.coclin at digicert.com

Voting has ended on Ballot CSC 15, Summer 2022 Cleanup. Quorum was reached
and the results are as follows:

 

CAs voting in favor: Certum (Asseco), DigiCert, Entrust, GlobalSign, HARICA,
Sectigo, SSL.com, SecureTrust

Opposed: None

Abstaining: None

 

Certificate Consumers voting in favor: Microsoft

Opposed: None
Abstaining: None

 

Therefore, the ballot passes.

 

As this ballot is to cleanup editorial items, no IPR review is required.

The Chair requests the ballot editor to create the appropriate changes and
publish the document.
