Code Signing working group call

4/11/19

 

Attendees: Hugh Mercer, Dean Coclin, Enrico Entschew, Markus Kilos, Oliver
Kuley, Dimitris Zacharopoulos, Robin Alden, Frank Corday, Ben Wilson, Tim
Callan, Doug Beattie, Jason Cooper, Tim Hollebeek, Gordon Bock

 

Previous meeting minutes

Minutes of previous meeting approved.

 

New members

Added "Requested Info" category

Intel requested information.  May qualify as an interested party or a
certificate consuming platform.

Tim Hollebeek will reach out to HP

Tim Callan will reach out to some anti-malware platforms

 

Ballots

Ben signed up to write a ballot for code signing minimum requirements

Dimitris will help post to GitHub

Tim Hollebeek is available to review and comment

IP review will take 60 days since it's a full guideline

Will push ballot prior to completing GitHub

 

Administrative

Dean will set up code signing section on Wiki

Public web site to be updated - Ben

 

EV

The working group agreed to start looking at the EV guidelines for potential
revisions

 

Next call is scheduled for April 25
