<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The difficulty we face is that, having chosen to require Subject identity information to be verified, it would be inconsistent to allow the freeform use of pseudonyms.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">As far as I know, only Germany provides the options for alternative “religious names or pseudonyms” on their national ID:
