p.MsoNormal,p.MsoNoSpacing{margin:0}</style></head><body><div><b>This email initiates the voting period for Ballot SC55</b>, the special election ballot for the role of Chair of the Server Certificate Working Group, in accordance with Bylaws section 4.1.3.<br></div><div type="cite" id="qt" style=""><div><br></div><div>There are two nominations for Chair of the SCWG:<br></div><ul><li><b>Iñigo Barreira (Sectigo)</b><br></li><li><b>Tim Hollebeek (DigiCert)</b><br></li></ul><div>Candidates are invited to send a statement to members on their candidacy.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Voting will be done using the system established by the Forum elections: an election committee consisting of <b>Don Sheehy (WebTrust/CPA Canada)</b> and <b>Clemens Wanko (ACAB-C/TUV-Austria)</b> will tally the votes. Each Member organization receives one vote, regardless of its classification as Certificate Consumer or Certificate Issuer.<br></div><div><br></div><div>The election committee will tally the last received vote from each qualified voting Member during the voting period. All votes are considered confidential information by the election committee; the candidate with the most votes will be announced by separate email after the voting period concludes. <br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Members must submit their votes via direct email to Don and Clemens and not to any Forum mailing list for them to be counted.</b><br></div><div><br></div><div><i>Email addresses for submission of votes are on the initial ballot announcement as published to the Management list on 15 September 2022; they have been omitted here for privacy reasons.</i><br></div><div><br></div><div>The discussion period and voting period for this ballot will follow this schedule:<br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Discussion Period</b><b></b><br></div><ul><li><b>START 16 September 2022 at 0900 Eastern</b><br></li><li><b>END 23 September 2022 at 0900 Eastern</b><br></li></ul><div><b>Voting Period</b><b></b><br></div><ul><li><b>START 23 September 2022 at 1200 Eastern</b><br></li><li><b>END 30 September 2022 at 1200 Eastern</b><br></li></ul><div><br></div></div><div><br></div></body></html>
