certificates, including methods (7) through (10). So I think the better correction of EVGL 11.7.1(1) would be simply to remove the words “***, except that a CA MAY NOT verify a domain using the procedure described subsection 3.2.2.4(7)”. We may need to
make other modifications as well. I think this issue should go back to the (revived) Validation Working Group.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
