<p><span style="color: green;">We have verified that EGO started the firewall set-up on the 6th of December. MITM proxy feature service started on the 21st of December. Chrome browsers in the LAN had started access errors to Google site on the very same day. This information is based on the declaration of the firewall vendor and EGO. We believe that it is most likely that the faulty certificate was automatically generated by the firewall on the 21st of December (cloning all attribues but few, worth reminding that the faulty certificate differ from the true Google cert only in a few fields). The likelihood of a malicious usage is indeed barely above zero.</span></p>
