One nomination (David Kluge) has been received for Vice Chair of the NetSec WG, so a confirmation ballot (NS-002) will be held.

RESOLVED: That David Kluge be elected Vice Chair of the Network Security Working Group of the CA/Browser Forum for a two-year term, to begin at the expiration of the current term.

The Discussion Period (7 days) was held as follows:

Start: Tuesday, 11 October 2022 at 1300 PT (20:00 UTC)
End: Tuesday, 18 October 2022 at 1300 PT (20:00 UTC)

The Voting Period (7 days) will be held as follows:

Start: Wednesday, 19 October 2022 at 07:00 PT (14:00UTC)
End: Wednesday, 26 October 2022 at 07:00 PT (14:00UTC)

Voting Details

During the Voting Period, votes must be cast by an on-list reply to the Voting Period email thread using the netsec at cabforum.org list.

A vote in favor of the motion must indicate a clear 'yes' in the response. A vote against must indicate a clear 'no' in the response. A vote to abstain must indicate a clear 'abstain' in the response. Unclear responses will not be counted.

The latest vote received from any representative of a Voting Member before the close of the Voting Period will be counted.

Voting Members (Certificate Consumers and Certificate Issuers) are listed at https://cabforum.org/netsec-wg/.

In accordance with the CA/Browser Forum Bylaws, the single nominee is considered confirmed if a majority of the Voting Members who vote are in favor of the appointment, regardless of the number of votes cast and irrespective of the proportion of Voting Member categories.
